Talk Radio (regarding Village of Blume an Eco-Sustainable Community)

As the Blume project advances I thought it would be interesting to revisit some older discussions that are very relevant to the Village of Blume.  Blume is an Eco-Sustainable Community that incorporates sustainable design and preservation of Agriculture. New Green Construction Code Unveiled

Today the International Code Council (ICC) released Public Version 1.0 of the International Green Construction Code (IGCC).  The new code concerns the construction of new and existing commercial buildings.  The IGCC aims to address sustainability by significantly reducing energy use.  It also addresses sustainable site development and land use, providing for preservation of natural and material resources, as well as energy efficient appliances, renewable energy systems, water resource conservation, rainwater collection systems and distribution systems and the recovery of used water (graywater).
